About the COIN workshop series


The COIN international workshop series has started in 2006. The ideia is to organize the workshop colocated to major AI conferences with interests in the topics of agents coordination, organizations, institutions and norms, like AAMAS, IJCAI, ECAI etc.

The first COIN workshop (COIN@AAMAS 2006 ) was held in Hakodate, Japan, at AAMAS 2006 , focusing on normative aspects in agent coordination.

The second COIN workshop (COIN@ECAI 2006 ) was held in Riva del Garda, Italy, at ECAI 2006 , focusing on organizational aspects of agent interactions.

The third COIN workshop (COIN@AAMAS 2007 ) was held in Honolulu, USA, at AAMAS 2007 .

The fourth COIN workshop (COIN@MALLOW 2007 ) was held in Durham, UK, at MALLOW 2007 .

The fifth COIN workshop (COIN@AAMAS 2008 ) was held in Estoril, Portugal, at AAMAS 2008 .

The sixth COIN workshop (COIN@AAAI 2008 ) was held in Chicago, USA, at AAAI 2008 .

The seventhth COIN workshop (COIN@AAMAS 2009 ) was held in Budapest, Hungary, at AAMAS 2009 .

The eighth COIN workshop (COIN@IJCAI 2009 ) was held in Pasadena, USA, at IJCAI 2009 .

The nineth COIN workshop (COIN@MALLOW 2009 ) was held in Torino, Italy, at MALLOW 2009 .

The tenth COIN workshop (COIN@AAMAS 2010 ) was held in Toronto, Canada, at AAMAS 2010 .

The eleventh COIN workshop (COIN@MALLOW 2010 ) was held in Lyon, France, at MALLOW 2010 .
