Registration:

Participants: Students from Escola Politécnica da USP interested on open source development.

Background: Basic user experience on Linux and intermediate knowledge of C and/or C++. Some experience on using development tools for Linux is desired, but not necessary.

Subscription: The student must send an e-mail to the address given below exposing his/her past experience on Linux and Development Tools for Linux (GCC, Make) - if any - as well as a brief text on why he/she wants to participate on the Workshop. The use of the English language is not necessary even though understanding English is a must. "Have installed Linux once", "have compiled programs from source using make" and "developed EP's under Linux" are considered good examples of past experience descriptions.

The list of selected students will be available in May 6.

All the students selected must confirm the participation in May 7.

The course is free. But contribution to Fraternidade Toca de Assis - like clothes or foods- is highly encouraged.
